Wulf Rössler is an internationally renowned psychiatrist and psychologist. His main focus is on social psychiatry, which deals with the social factors influencing the development and course of mental disorders. For many years he ran the Zurich Psychiatric University Hospital, one of the best-known Psychiatric hosptals in the world. After his retirement, he accepted various professorships, e.g. in Sao Paulo, and is currently Senior Professor at the Charité in Berlin. His experience in psychotherapy and psychiatric practice spans decades. Wulf has been taking images for many years, especially on his numerous trips abroad. He also uses photography as a therapeutic tool in his practical work. He has attended several seminar classes at Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin, taught by photographer Michael Grieve.
